At 5:21PM this evening, the Boulder Police Department Communications Center received a 911 call in reference to an assault which was currently occurring. The incident took place at the Circle K gas station, located at 1480 Canyon. Initial reports were that the victim was unconscious and the suspect fled the scene prior to officers arriving.
We are currently asking for the public’s assistance in locating the suspect who fled the scene prior to officers arriving on scene.
The suspect is described as a white male last seen wearing:
- A red shirt
- Tan shorts
The male was last seen on foot, possibly going southbound on 14th Street. Additional updates will be updated here as they become available. If you believe you see the suspect, please contact Boulder Police Department Communications at 303-441-3333.
Update @ 6:45PM: We are releasing a photograph of the suspect, which was captured through the surveillance cameras a Circle K. If you see a person matching this description please call Boulder Police 303-441-3333.
Update @ 12:05AM - Friday: This evening the assault victim from the Circle K gas station, located at 1480 Canyon died. The Boulder County Coroners Office was advised and is assisting in this investigation. With the publics assistance the suspect was identified, and has been contacted by police. He was interviewed and transported to the Boulder County Jail.
He was arrested persuiant to a warrant this evening. Detectives have also executed several Search Warrants as part of the investigation. The Boulder Police Department will continue to work in collaberation with the Boulder District Attorneys Office and the Boulder County Coroners Office on this case,
