Boulder Police make arrest in overnight suspected homicide

The Boulder Police Department has arrested an adult male in connection to a suspected homicide that occurred in the city last night.

At approximately 9:30 p.m. on Monday, March 15, officers responded to the 3800 block of Baseline Road for a medical call. When officers arrived on scene, they found an adult male who was deceased. The Coroner’s Office will determine the cause and manner of death as well as release the victim’s identity once next of kin has been notified.

Brandon Bohler, 29, of Boulder, was detained at the scene. In consultation with the D.A.’s Office, Bohler will be charged with murder in the first degree. His booking photo can be obtained from the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office once it’s available.

The two men were known to each other, and this investigation remains ongoing.
