Officers responding to the area of 28th & Glenwood, in reference to a man who threatened a victim with a knife

As of 9:15PM, the suspect has been arrested.

8:45PM: At approximately 8:32PM, the Boulder Police Department received a 9-1-1 call in reference to a male party who threatened the victim with a kitchen knife, in the area of 28th Street and Glenwood Drive.  Multiple officers are responding to the area at this time.  A description of the suspect is below and we will be posting updates here. If you see someone matching that description, please call 911.

Suspect Description

  • White Male
  • Approximately 5'9" tall
  • Brown Hoodie
  • Last seen on bicycle in the area of Safeway (3325 28th Street)

9:43PM: Officers remained in the area of Safeway looking for the suspect until at approximately 9:10PM, when the Boulder Police Department received two tips from community members that they had seen a male matching the suspect description in the area of 28th St and Pearl St.  Shortly after, officers located and made contact with the suspect outside of McDonalds (1800 28th Street).  At approximately 9:15PM, the male suspect was arrested for Felony Menacing and was transported to the Boulder County Jail. There is no further information at this time and the police department thanks the community for their help in locating this suspect.
