The Boulder Police Department is again asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect who stole a victim’s wallet and then subsequently used the victim’s credit cards at the Boulder Apple Store and Macy’s.

The victim was shopping at Home Goods, located at 2400 Arapahoe Avenue, when an unknown female “bumped into her”. Moments later, the victim noticed that her wallet was missing. The victim immediately made a report to staff at Home Goods and contacted Chase Bank. During the time between the victim’s wallet being stolen and reporting it stolen to Chase Bank, the victim’s credit card was used to complete two transactions.

  • Over $9,100.00 at the Apple Store
  • $400 at Macy’s

With the assistance of Apple Store Loss Prevention, the Boulder Police Department was able to obtain surveillance footage of the suspect using the victim’s credit card at the Apple Store. The suspect in the posted surveillance footage is outlined in red. Anyone with information in reference to the possible identity of the suspect in this case, is asked to contact Detective Marples at 303-441-3345. The case number for this incident is 19-10731. A video clip of the suspect inside of the Boulder Apple Store is also posted below.
