Bob Keatley retiring after 42 years of service to the Boulder community

Congratulations to Boulder Police Legal Advisor Bob Keatley on his retirement after 42 years of service to the City of Boulder. Bob started at the police department in 1978. Bob worked for five chiefs, reviewed over 8,000 warrants, advised officers on a wide range of legal issues and was on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week during his 42-year career. Bob dedicated is professional career not only the officers of Boulder Police Department, but to all law enforcement professionals in the state by creating the Colorado Peace Officer’s Handbook, a widely used resource in Colorado. Bob’s legal knowledge and easy manner will be greatly missed. Thanks for your service Bob! The men and women of the Boulder Police Department wish you a happy, well deserved retirement!
