Boulder police are for searching for a driver that ran a red light and struck a 69 year-old woman as she crossed the street.
The crash occurred yesterday, Aug. 26, at 10:18 a.m., at Broadway and Pearl Street. The suspect was driving southbound on Broadway, ran a red light at Pearl Street and struck a woman as she was crossing eastbound in the crosswalk.
The driver fled the scene, ran a second red light at Walnut Street and then turned right onto westbound Canyon Boulevard.
The victim was transported to Boulder Community Health with serious bodily injuries that include a broken femur, spinal fracture and concussion.
