In an effort to support meaningful and inclusive engagement around the police department’s master plan process, the City of Boulder is accepting applications for two community members to join the Police Department Master Plan Process Subcommittee.

The purpose of this subcommittee is to partner with staff in developing, supporting, and ensuring best practices related to the overall planning process and public engagement for the master plan. Community members will serve as advisors and ambassadors on the master plan process with an emphasis on community engagement processes. Discussion of policy issues or plan content will not be part of the subcommittee’s purview.

More information about the Police Master Plan Process, including the Police Master Plan Process Subcommittee, is available at https://bouldercolorado.gov/police/master-plan.  Individuals who wish to be considered for this volunteer opportunity must express interest by 5 p.m. on Oct. 27, 2020.
Please note due to a technical issue interest expressed to BPDProcessSubcommittee@bouldercolorado.gov between Oct. 8– 13, 2020 was not received. We apologize for the inconvenience and ask interested community members to please send us your e-mail again.
