Boulder Police are asking for the public’s help to identify two males who stole items from a local business and used bear spray on an employee as they left.
Shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 2, officers responded to the Home Depot, 1600 29th St., for a report of a robbery. Employees noticed two males attempting to leave the store without paying for a cart of power tools. When they attempted to stop them, one of the males sprayed bear spray at the employee.
The two suspects are described as Latino males, possibly in their early 20s, 5’6” to 5’9” feet tall and weighing between 110 and 130 pounds. The suspect with the Nike “track suit” had a black and red, Chicago Bulls baseball hat and a tattoo on the right side of his neck that possibly might have been Roman numerals. They were last seen leaving the area in a white Subaru Legacy without plates. They are pictured here.
